About Pediatric Vaccine Research
Pediatric vaccines are essential for protecting children from harmful diseases. Vaccines help strengthen a child’s immune system, allowing their body to fight off dangerous infections. By receiving vaccines, children are less likely to get sick or suffer from severe complications. Vaccines can successfully prevent illnesses such as measles, mumps, rubella, polio, and whooping cough. Now, researchers are developing and studying investigational vaccines for other viruses with dangerous long-term health consequences and respiratory illnesses like RSV, Meningococcal disease, Pneumococcal disease, the flu, COVID-19, and more.
