About Parkinson’s Disease Research
Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a common neurological disorder that affects the brain and causes problems with movement. It can make it hard to control muscles and can lead to shaking, stiffness, and trouble with balance. Parkinson’s mainly affects older adults, but it can also happen to younger people. It is important to understand more about PD so that we can find better ways to treat and manage it. Clinical trials can provide access to new investigational medications and devices for PD, while helping to advance medicine and potentially improve lives.
You can help advance medicine by joining a clinical trial at Velocity, and you may also:
- Learn about potential new medicines in development
- Get study-related medical exams at no cost
- Receive compensation for participating (available amounts may differ for each study)
After you submit your information, a Velocity enrollment specialist will contact you. Together, we’ll review studies that might be right for you and answer your questions.
Health insurance is NOT required to join. There is never an obligation to participate — we’re here to help you make the best decision.
