About Parkinson’s Disease Research
Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a common neurological disorder that affects the brain and causes problems with movement. It can make it hard to control muscles and can lead to shaking, stiffness, and trouble with balance. Parkinson’s mainly affects older adults, but it can also happen to younger people. It is important to understand more about PD so that we can find better ways to treat and manage it. Clinical trials can provide access to new investigational medications and devices for PD, while helping to advance medicine and potentially improve lives.
