About this research study

Painful lumbosacral radiculopathy (PLSR) is a type of peripheral neuropathic pain which is caused by compression or irritation of nerve roots in the lower back leading to pain in the leg. PLSR can negatively affect patients’ sleep, mood, and functionality.

Velocity is now conducting a clinical trial for an investigational Painful Lumbosacral Radiculopathy medication.

Eligible participants...

Must be age 18 to 70
Must have been diagnosed with painful lumbosacral radiculopathy (PLSR) for 3 or more months with all of the following:
- Stability in intensity and symptomatology for 2 or more weeks
- No changes to prescribed medicines or treatments for PLSR pain for more than 4 weeks
Must NOT have moderate or severe painful neuropathy other than PLSR
Must NOT have a history of prior lumbar surgery
Will receive compensation for study-related time
Do not need insurance to join this study
