About this research study

Nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) is the more serious form of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) which causes the liver to swell and become damaged. Not all patients with steatosis will progress to NASH and there are currently no clear criteria to identify these patients. There are currently no approved medications for the treatment of NASH.

Velocity is conducting a study for an investigational NASH medication.

  • Must have a BMI of greater than 23 kg/m2
  • Must have a confirmed NASH diagnosis or conditions consistent with NASH
