About this research study

Adults who have irritable bowel syndrome associated with predominant diarrhea (IBS-D) and abdominal pain may qualify for a clinical study with Velocity Clinical Research.

All study-related office visits, study medications, lab work, and study procedures are provided at no cost to participants. This is a placebo-controlled study.

Eligible participants...

Must be age 18 and older
Must have had 2 or more of the following symptoms for at least 6 months; Abdominal pain at least 1 day per week over the last 3 months associated with one or more of the following:
- Related to defecation
- A change in frequency of stool
- A change in form (appearance) of stool
Will receive compensation for study-related time

Will I receive compensation?

While participation in a clinical study is voluntary, you may be paid for study-related time. After you submit your information, a Velocity enrollment specialist will call you to talk about the study. Staff at the research clinic will discuss possible payment with you.
