About this research study

Vitiligo is an autoimmune disorder that causes patches of skin to lose pigment. Symptoms may include loss of pigment, itching, burning, and pain among emotional and physio-social impacts. Vitiligo can be unpredictable and lesions may remain stable, progress, or alternative between the two states throughout a person’s lifetime.

People with vitiligo may be eligible to join this research study of an investigational medication for the condition. Eligible participants may receive compensation for study-related time.

Eligible participants...

  • Must be age 18 and older
  • Must have been clinically diagnosed with vitiligo for at least 3 months and
    • Involvements at palms of the hands, soles of the feet, or dorsal aspect of the feet and
    • Involvement on the face (not including scalp, ears, neck, or surface area of the lips)
  • Must NOT currently have active forms of other disorders of pigmentation (coexistence of halo nevus/nevi is permitted)
  • May receive compensation for study-related time
  • Do not need insurance to join this study
