About this research study

More than a common cold, RSV can lead to severe infections, including pneumonia, and hospitalization. In the U.S., scientists are researching an investigational vaccine to potentially prevent RSV infections in children.

Eligible participants...

Must be 2 to <18 years
Must be healthy if 2 to <5 years, or with one of the following, stable, chronic conditions (2 to <18 years) that increase the risk or RSV disease: medically treated asthma, cystic fibrosis, chronic respiratory diseases and malformations of the lung, trisomy 21, neuromuscular disease, cerebral palsy, hemodynamically significant or symptomatic congenital heart disease, sickle cell disease without the need for any blood transfusions in the 3 months prior to enrollment
Must NOT have had a confirmed RSV infection within the past 3 months
Will receive compensation for study-related expenses including travel
Do not need insurance to join this study
