About this research study

Neisseria meningitidis can cause serious meningococcal disease, including brain and spinal cord infection (meningitis). Even in healthy individuals, invasive meningococcal disease can rapidly lead to severe illness, and sometimes death. Velocity is conducting a research study for an investigational meningococcal vaccine.

Eligible participants...

Must be age 10 to 17
Must NOT have received any vaccines within the past 4 weeks
Must NOT have received vaccination against meningococcal B
