About this research study

Hidradenitis suppurativa (also known as acne inversa) is a skin disease that usually presents swollen bumps under the skin, especially in areas where skin rubs together, like the armpits. Bumps can even become inflamed and leak pus. People suffering from hidradenitis suppurativa may be eligible to receive an investigational medication at no cost through this clinical study.

Eligible participants...

  • Must be age 18 to 75
  • Must have had hidradenitis suppurativa for at least 6 months
  • Must have moderate to severe hidradenitis suppurativa
  • Must have had at least a 3-month course of oral antibiotics (with inadequate response to or exhibited recurrence after discontinuation) or intolerance or contraindication to oral antibiotics for the treatment of hidradenitis suppurativa
