About E. Coli Research
Escherichia coli (E. coli) are bacteria that can cause infections, which can trigger diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and fever. In some cases, the infection can be life-threatening. While E. coli can affect people of all ages, people age 60 and older are more susceptible to becoming ill from the bacteria, especially those with a history of urinary tract infections (UTIs).
Velocity is seeking participants with a history of UTI for investigational E. coli vaccine studies.
