About this research study

Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a progressive disease. It is characterized by a loss of cognitive abilities. In early stages, memory loss is mild, but symptoms worsen over time. Several behavioral disorders can affect patients with AD such as agitation, anxiety, disturbance of sleep cycle, and irritability among others. These behavioral disorders affect the quality of life in patients with AD and can cause emotional turmoil for caregivers.

Velocity is conducting a clinical research study for an investigational medication for agitation in patients living with Alzheimer’s disease at no cost to participants.
