Velocity’s rheumatology research site in St. Louis partners with West County Rheumatology to conduct clinical trials for drugs, medical devices, and diagnostics intended to help assess and treat rheumatic disorders that cause fatigue, joint pain, inflammation, and limitations in mobility. Typical studies at this site involve medications or medical devices intended to help assess and treat rheumatologic conditions such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Lupus, Sjogren’s Syndrome, Polymyalgia Rheumatica, Psoriatic Arthritis, and Spondyloarthropathies.
Through the partnership with West County, the site is easily accessible to thousands of patients, including those established with the practice. All trials conducted at the site are performed in accordance with ICH and FDA guidelines, and in compliance with GCP.
