    Robert Williams, MD is a board-certified family practitioner with additional certifications in Geriatric Medicine and Palliative Care & Hospice Medicine. After receiving his medical degree from Tulane University, Dr. Williams completed his residency at UCLA Ventura County Medical Center before completing fellowships in Palliative Care & Hospice as well as Geriatric Medicine at the University of Colorado. In addition to his extensive experience in conducting clinical research as an investigator, Dr. Williams has been practicing medicine for over a decade.

    Site Director
    Joseph Ruybal, MHL, MSM, has been in the clinical research industry for 15 years. Joseph earned his Masters of Healthcare Leadership (‘23) and Masters of Business Management (‘14) from Wake Forest University. Joseph has extensive experience both in bench research and clinical trial operations. Joseph is published for his federally funded bench research studying eosinophilic esophagitis. Joseph established the Clinical Research Institute at Great Plains Health in North Platte, NE before joining Velocity in 2024.
