You can ask the following questions to make a more informed decision about joining.
- What is the goal of this study?
- How will the medicine, medical device, or test be given to me?
- How many times will I need to visit the clinic?
- Will I be paid for my time and travel, or for participating in this study?
- Is insurance required to join this study?
- If the treatment works for my condition, can I continue taking it after the study?
- Will I receive any exams, tests, or follow-up care?
- Who is the doctor and/or staff running this study?
- How is my privacy protected throughout the study?
- Will the study affect my current treatment plan or daily life?
