About this research study

Hepatic steatosis, or metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD), can be found in about 20 to 30% of the general population in Western countries. About 10% of patients with hepatic steatosis will progress to metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), formerly NASH.

Velocity is conducting a study for an investigational hepatic steatosis medication.

Eligible participants...

  • Must be ages 18-75
  • Must have a BMI of 25 to 40 kg/m2
  • Must NOT have any form of acute or chronic liver disease other than hepatic steatosis
  • Must NOT have type 1 diabetes
  • Will receive compensation for study-related time
  • Do not need insurance to join this study
