About this research study

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a group of diseases that cause airflow blockage and breathing problems. Symptoms of COPD include coughing or wheezing, shortness of breath, trouble taking a deep breath, and excess phlegm.

Velocity is now enrolling people for a study of an investigational medication for COPD in patients with COPD who have exertional breathlessness despite treatment with dual or triple COPD maintenance therapy.

Eligible participants...

Must be age 40 and older
Must have a diagnosis of COPD for at least a year
Must be a current or former smoker
Must be on dual or triple inhaled maintenance COPD treatment at a stable dose for the past 3 months
Must NOT have a current diagnosis of any other chronic respiratory diseases other than COPD
Will receive compensation for study-related time
Do not need insurance to join this study
