About this research study

Hypercholesterolemia (high cholesterol) causes have blood levels of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, also known as “bad cholesterol.” Having too much LDL cholesterol in the blood can cause health problems such as heart disease, heart attack, and stroke. Diet and exercise may help in managing LDL levels, but may not be enough to lower cholesterol to a healthy level.

Velocity is conducting a clinical research study for an investigational medication for high cholesterol (hypercholesterolemia).
