About this research study

Short-acting beta-antagonist (SABA) inhalers are one of the most widely used medications to relieve asthma symptoms. However, it is believed that they only treat the symptoms, not the cause (inflammation of the airways).

Velocity is now enrolling people with asthma who use SABA inhalers for a virtual study of an investigational medication intended to provide rapid relief for asthma symptoms, while addressing underlying inflammation. There are no in-person visits required in this study.

Eligible participants...

Must be age 12 or older and diagnosed with asthma
Must be actively using either a SABA alone, or a SABA with a low dose of ICS or LTRA
- SABA alone: Must have filled at least 2 prescriptions for a SABA inhaler in the past year
- SABA and low-dose ICS or LTRA monotherapy: Must have filled at least 1 prescription for a SABA inhaler and 1 prescription for a low-dose ICS or LTRA in the past year
Must NOT have any other significant lung disease, such as COPD, emphysema, IPF, or sarcoidosis.
Will receive compensation for study-related time
Do not need insurance to join this study
