Velocity's Family and Sports Medicine research site in Kearney partners with Brad Rodgers Family Practice and Sports Medicine to conduct studies related to general medicine, weight loss, migraines, diabetes, dermatology, sports medicine (orthopedic studies), and other conditions. This site also performs vaccine studies for people of all ages. Acquired by Velocity in 2022, the Kearney location was founded earlier in 2022 as part of Meridian Clinical Research.
Located just off of I-80, the site is easily accessible to thousands of patients. All trials conducted at the site are performed in accordance with ICH and FDA guidelines, and in compliance with GCP. Principal Investigator
Brad Rodgers, MD specializes in certified wound care, family medicine, hormone therapy, and sports medicine. He has been practicing medicine for more than 40 years and serves as Team Doctor for the Tri-City Storm as well as Team Physician for UNK Athletics. Board certified in Family Medicine, Dr. Rodgers earned his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1983 and completed his residency in 1986. He previously served as a medical board member for Kearney Regional Medical Center and as Medical Director of BioTest Plasma.
